Welcome to the Coordinated Program in Dietetics
The Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD) prepares students to become Registered Dietitians (RDs), highly qualified nutrition professionals who are recognized as the most reliable sources of nutrition information.
The CPD provides both the course work and the supervised practice hours (similar to an internship). Upon completion of the program, graduates become eligible to take the National Registration Examination for Dietitians.
After successfully passing the exam, the graduate is an RD and qualified for various positions within the field of nutrition and dietetics. The CPD confers a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics, and those who already have a degree can do the program as a post-bachelor certificate or as part of a graduate degree.
For more information on becoming an RD, see the links under the menu item "Becoming an RD".
