Courses in the Nutrition and Food Science Department are designed for students in three distinct groups: a) those majoring in nutrition and food science who are interested in entering either the nutrition or the food science profession; b) those interested in entering the dietetics field; and c) those majoring in nutrition and food science with the intention of entering non-technical positions in a variety of food businesses.
